Course Expectations

Classroom Expectations

I have high expectations for all of my students. I expect each student to TRY and do their best. Each day is a learning process. I do not expect them to know all of the answers, but I do expect them to ask questions and not give up on their own journey for knowledge. Students are always held accountable for following the rules of the school. In my classroom, they are also held accountable for being respectable leaders and learners.

Students should be prepared to work in my class. While I do not penalize students for not having materials, they will need to take care of all their personal issues before actual class time begins. Otherwise, they may miss important instruction. I do move at a fast pace, so students will be expected to keep up. There will always be time to ask questions and get help, yet students are responsible for taking that initiative.

Class Schedule

Enter Room -- Begin Daily Language activity for the day.

First -- Students will be given the goals and objectives for the day. Students will have a task they are to complete by the end of class.

Second -- Students will take part in a teacher-led activity. This could be a read-aloud, notes, video, etc.

Third -- Students will then work with a partner to practice what was given by the teacher. Students will share with class/each other what they worked on. (If students can handle it!)

Fourth -- Students will work individually on the task given by the teacher.

Fifth -- Closing activity and exit tickets.
